Book summary and personal interpretation from German into English by Fabio Monnerjan. “Künstliche Intelligenz und der Sinn des Lebens” publ. 2020

<aside> 🌱 The purpose of the book is to be an essay by a philosopher, that questions what artificial intelligence will do to our sense of self and humankind in the future.

It’s not about how AI works and the many ways in which it can be used, it is just about future human existence in a continously digitalizing world. A world where technology doesn’t just function as automation, but where the automation itself is automized and has a direct impact into the way we live or get to live our lives.

The book tries to show how humans are not so much the “opposite of nature”, but rather the “opposite of artificial intelligence”.
